Our Work in 2025
The HHC served people in-person from 21 counties in SC as well as residents of AZ, TN, NC, & GA.
We saw a 34% increase in engagement in 2025 over 2024.
We collaborated with 31 community partners and businesses to host 40 of our events.
HHC employees spent over 300 hours on advocacy, coalition, and civic engagement events and initiatives.
The ACLU tracked 616 anti-LGBTQ+ bills across the U.S. from the 2025 legislative cycle, 20 of those originating from SC.

As a volunteer staffed organization, we update our schedule of hours on a quarterly basis. While we list our hours of operation here, please note that we are not able to be as consistent as we wish due to our staffing. The best way to tell if we are open is the presence of our flag outside on flag pole!
