Our Programs
Programming at the Harriet Hancock Center is divided into a couple categories.
Social Groups are designed to bring community members together. We plan a number of activities and outings for LGBTQ+ adults to connect and socialize.
Peer-Support groups are designed to be a gathering of people with similar identities who come together to support each other and discuss their experiences. Peer-support groups can be a valuable resource for developing the skills and confidence to manage your well-being.
Youth OUTLOUD is for middle and high school aged LGBTQ+ youth. They are a hybrid group providing peer-support and social activities.
We have a variety of special events from our Queer Pop-Up Closet to the annual Legacy Gala.
All participants of our peer-support and social programming are expected to follow our house rules. Each group may have their own set of group norms as well to help facilitate discussion and maintain a safe space for all. To review the house rules click here!
